The real highlight of the Realme 1 is a surprisingly extensive range of AI capabilities, including intuitive battery management, scene recognition and 8,000,000 "beauty solutions" for the most vivid self-portraits and bokeh shots. The newly launched Realme 1 smartphone comes with the similar glossy diamond cut design as seen on the models like Oppo F7 and Oppo A3.

The staggering success brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus have garnered by being an online-only brand has changed the Indian smartphone landscape, with Xiaomi gobbling up 31% of the market share, while OnePlus dominates the premium tier. It will go on sale from May 25 at 12 PM.

The new phone will be up against the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro, Huawei P20 Lite, and Motorola Moto G5 series, among others.

The Realme 1 features a 6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels coupled with 84.75 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor that is clocked at 2GHz.

Coming to the camera department, the Oppo Realme 1 features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The M1 offers more of a stock Android experience whereas the Realme 1 comes with FunTouch 5.0.

The Realme 1 has been launched exclusively on Amazon India. While the 4GB RAM with 64GB STorage will cost Rs 10990, the 6GB RAM will cost Rs 13990 with 128GB storage.

The device is available in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which will sell at Rs 8,990. In a month, the company will also launch a 4GB RAM/64GB variant for Rs. 10,990. For color options, users will be able to choose among Diamond Black, Solar Red and later on Moonlight Silver. Oppo claims that the Realme 1 will include an after sales service directly from Oppo that's touted to possess over 500 licensed service centers in the nation. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. Notably, the phone will not come with a fingerprint sensor and will only offer a Face Unlock feature. For connectivity, the phone comes with dual 4G support, micro USB port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 support. The company is also throwing in a free case and a free screen protector. The Realme 1 features AR stickers for both the front and rear cameras.
