PlayStation E3 2018 Showcase confirmed

Sony's E3 2018 press conference is highly anticipated (as always), with the company having plenty of games in the pipeline that have the potential to make big waves. Those who can't attend in person can see everything they have live via Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and directly from the PlayStation website as well.

He also teased a further Spider-Man reveal at the event, saying viewers will be "blown away".

After the podcast went live, Sony updated its PlayStation Blogs with confirmation of dates, and the deep dives on Death Stranding, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2.

Unlike previous years wherein the publisher/developer has previewed a number of different games and peripherals, Sony has revealed they'll take a rare break from tradition and provide an exclusive look at just four upcoming titles. A year ago we introduced the new Sucker Punch title, Ghost of Tsushima, so we're going to go a deep dive into where the team is at on that-it's going to be fabulous.

All four of these games were shown during Sony's 2017 PlayStation Showcase. We're just about a month out from one of the biggest gaming conferences of the year, and as you'd expect, some of the biggest names in gaming are starting to share their plans for the show. P.T. showed that he definitely has the chops to move out into other genres and from what little we've seen of Death Stranding it looks to be an absolute trip.

Sony Interactive Entertainment head Shawn Layden will take the stage at 6pm PT on Monday, June 11 to kickoff the PlayStation press conference.

"We'll have some announcements with our third-party publishing partners, we'll have some news things to talk about there, as well as our continued support for independent development - we'll throw some highlight of that".
