Royal wedding guests: Who was the best dressed?

Royal wedding guests: Who was the best dressed?

Oprah Winfrey's light pink dress was designed by Stella McCartney, according to Elle.

The Suits actors opened up about the advice they gave to Meghan about her relationship with Prince Harry during an appearance on NBC.

Hollywood A-listers and British celebrities arrived at the Windsor Castle Saturday afternoon to witness the wedding of Prince Harry and US Actress Meghan Markle.

The guests were ferried to St George's Chapel on luxury coaches, and her friend Gayle King jokingly told CBS on Saturday that the talk show host was not happy at the type of transportation.

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey was spotted making her way into the chapel for the star-studded ceremony.

"I would like to thank the Stella McCartney team for working all night long to get this dress finished because we had dress-gate", she laughed.

American actor George Clooney and his wife Amal, as well as soccer star David Beckham and his fashion designer wife Victoria, were among the power couples seen at the event.

Oprah Winfrey may be as close as one can get to American royalty, but her celebrity is dwarfed by genuine royalty at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre arrives at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle for the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, May 19, 2018, in London.

Oprah Winfrey also has a connection to the royal couple.

She finished the look with a blush pink hat and matching clutch bag as she made her way into the chapel.

The tradition of the royal family using Welsh gold for wedding rings began in 1923 with the Queen Mother, then later The Queen, Princess Margaret, Princes Anne, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, CNN reported.

Markle will be accompanied by her mother, Doria Ragland, when she is driven to the chapel, and many of her closest friends and some co-stars from "Suits" will be in the audience. Also in attendance was the family of Prince William's wife Kate: Parents Carole and Michael Middleton, sister Pippa Middleton and brother James Middleton.

Joss Stone was also on hand, prompting BBC commenters to note that the singer, often barefoot on stage, wore shoes.

The Prince of Wales will take on the role of the absent father of the bride Thomas Markle, and walk his future daughter-in-law through the Quire up the altar to meet her groom.

Earl Charles Spencer, who spoke memorably at Diana's funeral on behalf of his family, was seen entering the church.
