Team Sonic Racing Leaked via Walmart Website

Team Sonic Racing Leaked via Walmart Website

Developed by Sumo Digital, the studio behind Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, you'll be able to play solo, in co-op, or competitively across a variety of stages from Sonic's games. Though some will be disappointed that it seems to abandon Sega's other properties in favor of firmly focusing on Sonic, the Nintendo Switch could do with another fun multiplayer racing game following Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so Sega can hopefully come up with the goods.

As for the game itself, the site description claims you can "choose from three distinct character types and unlock game changing vehicle customisation options to suit your racing style". Racing as a team will be a major focus of the game in every single mode, whether it's online or offline.

According to the publisher, Team Sonic Racing lets fans speed through vibrant circuits while taking part in electrifying multiplayer competitions. Team Sonic Racing puts the legendary hedgehog and his supporting cast back behind the wheel and is full-speed-ahead toward a Winter release.

Enjoy the first screenshots and stay tuned for more!

Walmart has now listed the game for Nintendo Switch but we're pretty sure that Team Sonic Racing will be coming to all other current-gen platforms, including the PC.
