Hitman 2 takes players on a global adventure across a mix of bustling worldwide locations, including a vibrant Miami setting with the colorful ambiance of an in-progress motorsport race bringing a new backdrop to the series. The storyline will follow Agent 47's ongoing pursuit of the Shadow Client, who's identity will finally be revealed. Hitman 2 will take players to a fresh sandbox full of new weapons, locations, targets, and tools to plan their ideal assassination. "Sun-drenched streets" and "dark and unsafe rainforests" are also on the cards, with multiple paths and methods to adopt. Three versions have been confirmed: Standard Edition, Silver Edition and Gold Edition (which includes two expansions; the Silver includes one). Interestingly, it's available today in early access for those who pre-order Hitman 2. It can be played online with a friend to take down the targets or you can play it in a single player mode as Agent 47.

"HITMAN 2 introduces new ways to play, new game modes and new features, including the new Sniper Assassin mode with franchise first co-op play", according to the game's Steam page.
