Love Island Sophie Gradon's Boyfriend Shares Heartbreaking Tribute

Love Island has faced calls to be cancelled tonight (Thursday 21 June) following the tragic death of former islander Sophie Gradon.

Viewers rushed to celebrate the feminist statement at the time, and following the sad news of Sophie's death, fans have praised her for the speech.

In a statement, Northumbria Police said a 32-year-old woman was found deceased on Wednesday evening at a property in Medburn near Newcastle.

It has been reported that Love Island star Sophie Gradon has passed away suddenly.

On Twitter, as her beau cradled his dog, she gushed: "When the love of your life loves his dogs like this you know he's the one".

Love Island host Caroline Flack posted on Twitter: "So very sad".

However, she chose to leave the series after 39 days - just two days after coupling up with co-star Katie Salmon, who eventually ended the show in fourth place, alongside partner Adam Maxted.

Zara Holland, who also starred in the second series, said she's "beyond heartbroken" to hear the news.
