Oakland dispensary pulls products over 'Permit Patty' viral video

Oakland dispensary pulls products over 'Permit Patty' viral video

"She's calling police on an 8-year-old little girl. you can hide all you want", the girl's mother said in the video.

-Ettel's business partner, who she said has "been growing and extracting [marijuana] for over 20 years", had been "dying from an auto-immune issue" before moving to Humboldt to start growing weed. Or that other other a white woman called campus police because two Native American boys were on a college tour. She added, "It was literally nonstop".

Austin then says the girl was selling water on her property to which the woman reacts "it's not your property".

Austin posted a video to Instagram of Ettel appearing to call police on Jordan.

"Horrible, terrible images and death threats", Ettel said, as she broke down in tears in the Today interview. "The whole world gonna see you, boo".

Later, a woman claiming to be the girl's cousin also uploaded the video on Twitter, dubbing the white complainant "Permit Patty".

"It was stupid. I completely regret that I handled that so poorly".

There is, of course, tremendous irony in someone selling marijuana-which is legal in California but illegal under federal law-calling the police on a kid selling water. That was a mistake, a complete mistake. She left her office windows opened and was bothered by the constant screaming of "come and buy my water". "I have no problem with enterprising young women", she told the publication.

Ettel told HuffPost that she was working from home and that Rodgers was continuously screaming outside.

"Not on your property", Ettel retorted.

"It was completely stress-related, and I should have never confronted her".

One Twitter user said: "Stop wasting the police's time lady, they got real emergencies to take care of".

As evidence of the disturbing trend, people have pointed to the case of the woman dubbed "Barbecue Becky" who called police to report two black men for having a charcoal grill at an Oakland park.

Said Ettel: "Yeah, and um, illegally selling water without a permit?" "That wasn't it. I just wanted them to be quiet or move to a corner".

She was reportedly selling water to help contribute to a family trip to Disneyland. "If we allowed anyone to do whatever they wished, then what (sic) would lead to a slippery slope and would be an attack to our democracy".

Ettel told the Huffington Post she is now getting online threats and feels "discriminated against".
