Stream Kanye West's New Album 'ye' - Rap-Up

Rapper Kanye West just released his eighth studio album yesterday. Anyone not in Wyoming could stream it via the WAV app on their phones, and by Friday morning, it hit all major digital retailers.

Though Kanye's last album debuted exclusively on Tidal, things are much different this time around. But get this, even though a lot of folks say they will cancel him going forward, they were all bumping his new album YE this weekend when it was finally released. Also, we know now, it's all headlines.

It actually doesn't sound like Kanye West is even trying to win us back, at least not based on numerous lyrics on Ye, the second of a slew of new albums slated to come out this summer from his G.O.O.D Music label, following last week's Pusha-T drop. Does this song take me somewhere?' "I believe "ye" is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible, it means 'you.' So I'm you, I'm us, it's us".

I completely redid the album after TMZ. It was just too sensitive about that topic and stuff. "And I'm just the person to do it".

With social media connecting us to wherever WiFi is available, fans who didn't download the app caught some snippets here and there. The opening track, "I Thought About Killing You" gets into, well, that, but also his own suicidal thoughts. In one of the most frank interviews he's given on the subject, West revealed that he was diagnosed with a mental health condition at the age of 40. That's my superpower, nigga ain't no disability I'm a superhero!

In April, before West made the slavery remark, he tweeted that his wife told him to tone down his pro-Trump comments.
