The forward Maurizio Sarri wants to sign when he becomes Chelsea boss

The Sun says Chelsea are set to appoint Maurizio Sarri as their new boss after reaching a £9.5million agreement to terminate the contracts of Conte and his backroom staff.

According to a report in the Telegraph, Sarri's predecessor, Antonio Conte who is still officially Chelsea's manager but likely to be sacked soon already tried to convince the Chelsea board twice to sign the Napoli front-man twice, unsuccessfully so.

"They [Chelsea] can expect nice football because he is a very good coach".

"I'm disappointed that he leaves like this but we have now a big coach (Carlo Ancelotti)".

He is now in Russian Federation for the World Cup and any deal would be pursued after the tournament, while Sarri is also thought to be considering a move for his old Napoli charge Jose Callejon.

"I hope he will win something with Chelsea because he's a nice coach".

Vecino is known to Martusciello after making the move to Inter last summer, where his technical ability and energetic performances caught the eye during his 31 appearances for the Serie A side last season, which yielded three goals and two assists.

He also netted 34 times during the previous campaign after being converted to a striker by the incoming Chelsea manager. We have seen many experienced players struggle to perform well in the Premier League and some might even recall Andriy Shevchenko struggling a bit during his time at Stamford Bridge. I think Chelsea fans will enjoy the style of football he plays.

However, despite fresh interest from Chelsea this summer, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has identified Koulibaly as one of the players who is too important to lose. The Blues are said to view the player as one for the future, which may boost Arsenal's chances of pipping their London rivals to a deal.

"Koulibaly is unapproachable and with him also [Piotr] Zielinski and with them [Marko] Rog".
