Two dead, four injured in Sweden shooting, not terrorism-related

"An 18-year-old man died during the night", said police spokesman Stephan Soderholm.

Reports are emerging this evening that four people have been wounded in a shooting in the Swedish city of Malmo. "It is unusual that three die in the same incident".

One witness told the Aftonbladet newspaper that he heard 15-20 shots near a local internet cafe. A man reportedly open-fired an automatic weapon at a crowd that was celebrating the win of Swedish national soccer team at the 2018 World Cup. We do not want to see that.

At least one of the victims of the shooting was known to police, Swedish media reported.

The police have stated there is no danger to the public, denying that the shooting was a terror attack of some sort.

No arrests have been made and police are looking for a dark vehicle.
