Brie Larson Posts Photo on Twitter Confirming Captain Marvel is a Wrap

One of the most highly anticipated films of next year just wrapped up filming.

Co-director Ryan Fleck's post zooms in on last Friday being listed as "Day 75 of 75" with the caption "We got next." likely highlighting that Captain Marvel is the next movie to hit screens from the MCU.

Actor Brie Larson, who plays the role of Captain Marvel, the standalone Avengers film, took to Instagram to share that the shoot for her film has finally wrapped up and she is now home.

"Of course, true to Marvel Cinematic Universe form, no secrets or hints were given away from this photo", according to Deadline.

After multiple delays, the release date of Marvel's Captain Marvel was announced as March 6, 2019.

The tweet shows an autographed Captain Marvel slate atop a calendar that depicts Larson, as Carol Danvers, in a rocket ship and trailed by what could be Chewie - Danvers' cat-like pet alien from the Marvel comic books.

Set in the 1990s and thus taking place before much of the current run of Marvel movies, "Captain Marvel" follows the adventures of Caron Danvers (Larson) when the Earth becomes entangled in an intergalactic conflict.

Having been teased in the Avengers Infinity War end credits sequence, Marvel fans are keen to find out how she will be of help in Avengers 4. There will be the typically long post-production process, especially since two of the cast, Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg, will need considerable digital tweaking.
