Chelsea confident of beating Liverpool to £65m Alisson transfer deal

Chelsea confident of beating Liverpool to £65m Alisson transfer deal

Jan Oblak has hinted that he will stay at Atletico Madrid despite reported interest from Liverpool FC.

It seems this has left the door open for Chelsea as the newspaper cites a report from Marca that claims the Blues are now leading the race to sign Alisson after opening talks and agreeing to pay close to Roma's £62m valuation.

Elsewhere, Chelsea are also preparing a bid for Roma's £65million-rated goalkeeper Alisson as they consider other options should their move for Donnarumma fall through.

His advent at Roma also helped Alisson usurp Ederson to become Brazil's first-choice custodian as well, and has made a mark at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with his exploits in goal.

Marco Asensio will not be leaving Real Madrid this summer, despite interest from Liverpool. My daughter is three years old, my son is a year old, and I have not seen them for a year and a half. It looked like the uncertainty surrounding the position would end at Anfield for good.

This would mean that Chelsea will be forced into the acquisition of a new goalkeeper, with Alisson understood to be the club's prime target. Contract negotiations with the Belgian shot stopper have been ended, and Chelsea are now looking to recoup as much as possible for him.

Morata has endured an inconsistent season at Stamford Bridge since arriving for a club-record fee of £70million from Real Madrid last summer.

Despite Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola agitating for a move for his client, there have been no concrete offers to take the 19-year-old away from the San Siro.
