Chelsea Officials In Italy To Finalise £40m Deal For Juventus Star

Sarri was offering no clues as to the possible transfer merry-go-round that could develop before next month's deadlines across Europe, though, with Milan also reportedly a potential destination for Higuain.

That is according to Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who is quoted in the report as suggesting that Chelsea are yet to make a "concrete" offer for Higuain in particular.

Giuseppe Marotta said there has been "nothing concrete" from Chelsea and AC Milan regarding Gonzalo Higuain, though the Juventus chief executive admitted the striker could be sold following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Morata only moved to Chelsea last summer, making a £57 million move from Real Madrid. There is huge respect for the player.

Chelsea have been linked with the Argentine, who worked under Blues boss Maurizio Sarri at Napoli three seasons ago.

Under Sarri's guidance at Napoli, Higuain broke Serie A's scoring record in a single campaign with 36 goals in the 2015-16 season.

The Spaniard saw his starting spot taken away by Olivier Giroud but Sarri could work his magic with Morata and we could finally see the best of the former Real Madrid man at the Bridge.

Chelsea have been in talks with Juventus over signing Rugani and the two clubs had another transfer summit in Nice over agreeing a deal for the Italy defender this summer.
