Gareth Bale's Real Madrid future looks to be sorted

The 28-year-old's future at Real Madrid has been a constant source of speculation since he admitted that he wasn't sure about his future following the Champions League final win over Liverpool FC back in May.

Real are looking to sign two out of Kylian Mbappe, Eden Hazard, Neymar and Robert Lewandowski, with Bale being added to the transfer list if they succeed.

Manchester United's hopes of signing Gareth Bale are set to end in disappointment with the Welshman expected to be told this week that he will succeed Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu.

There has only been one club strongly linked with Bale this summer, in the form of Manchester United.

New Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui thinks his familiarity with the demands and expectations of the club following his previous spells there will serve as an advantage to his chances of success. Florentino Perez is also not willing to sell Bale right after selling Cristiano Ronaldo but the report says that he might change his mind. This is not the first time Manchester United have made an attempt to sign the 70-time capped Wales worldwide.

"It's hard not to like Real Madrid", he told the club's TV channel (via Marca), "I like the anthem, everything". They have continued to monitor his progress closely ever since and are believed to have made inquiries about his availability after Jose Mourinho took over the reins at the club in 2016. Bale has felt that a section of the Madrid fans still don't rate him highly, despite what he has done for the club. Prior to moving to Spain, Bale enjoyed a wonderful time in the Premier League, scoring goals for Tottenham and being named the PFA Player of The Year in 2013.
