Elba is in final negotiations with the folks behind the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw to play a new villain, Variety reported Thursday. The actor's recent credits include In the Long Run, Avengers: Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, Molly's Game, and The Dark Tower. Neal H. Moritz will bankroll this film under his banner Original Film alongside Dwayne Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions partners, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia, Statham and Chris Morgan for his eponymous production company.
