Joe Hart travels with Manchester City for preseason USA friendlies

Goalkeeper Joe Hart has been named in the Manchester City squad for their tour to the USA.

Chelsea hijacked City's move for the Italy global and completed a £57m for the midfielder alongside the appointment of Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Hart spent last season on loan with West Ham after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola at the Etihad, having spent the previous campaign with Torino in Serie A.

Manchester City's World Cup representatives could miss the Community Shield tie against Chelsea and Premier League opener against Arsenal as they recover from a sustained period of club and worldwide action, manager Pep Guardiola has said.

The Premier League champions will play Borussia Dortmund in Chicago on Friday, July 20, before heading to NY to play Liverpool on Wednesday, July 25, and then finishing their trip with a match against Bayern Munich in Miami on Saturday, July 28.

Hart, 31, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Torino and West Ham and is in the a year ago of his contract with the Premier League champions.
