R. Kelly drops 19-minute track about Aaliyah, sexual abuse allegations

Singer R. Kelly, the target of a boycott campaign over his treatment of women, hit back Monday in a 19-minute song in which he reveals he was abused himself.

"Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him", she said in a statement in July 2017. "Can't eat, really? Real talk, that s-t sounds silly", Kelly sings on the track.

Titled "I Admit It", the track - in which he actually vehemently denies most claims - is exceptionally frank for the normally tight-lipped artist. "What the f***? That's some absurd s***", Kelly sings.

Kelly admits sex with "both older and young ladies" but adds: "Really, am I supposed to go to jail or lose my career because of your opinions?"

He specifically references allegations charged by the parents of Jocelyn Savage, who say Kelly began dating their 19-year-old daughter in 2016 and proceeded to cut off all communications between them and their daughter.

"Kelly also mentions a conversation he had with Wendy Williams about Aaliyah, singing, "[Wendy] said, 'What about Aaliyah said?' Love.

"I never thought it would come to this, to be the most disrespected artist (come) / So I had to write a song about this, "cause they always take my words and twist it (song) / Believe me it's hard to admit all this, but I'm in my feelings about this sh*t (oh, oh, yeah, yeah)". And told this boy to put her on stage.

R. Kelly is finally opening up about those sexual abuse accusations against him and not anyhow! From a child to the age 14.

"To Jim DeRogatis, whatever your name is (whatever your name is)/ You been tryna destroy me for 25 whole years (25 whole years, yeah)/ Writin' the same stories over and over against (stories, stories, yeah)/ Off my name, you done went and made yourself a career (a whole career)/ But guess what?"

If you're wondering why R. Kelly is acting like a Dave Chapelle parody of R. Kelly in his first major public statement since the news story that could kill his career, it's worth remembering that his lawyer, publicist, and assistant all quit working for for him three months ago. He also says that he does not own his music, that he dropped out of school and that he "couldn't read the teleprompter when the Grammy's asked me to present (an award)".

R. Kelly on creating a cult "What's the definition of a cult?/ What's the definition of a sex slave?/ Go to the dictionary, look it up/ Let me know I'll be here waiting". He has repeatedly denied the allegations.
