Ariana Grande And James Corden Celebrate ‘Titanic’ With Fast-Paced Musical Medley

Pop singer Ariana Grande and James Corden made waves on August 14 with a short musical adaption of James Cameron's "Titanic" on The Late Late Show.

The video was released ahead of Grande's Carpool Karaoke appearance on The Late Late Show, which will be aired on August 15. Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" was used for the iconic scene of the Titanic hitting the iceberg and NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" was the song used for Jack's death.

The Titanic-themed musical saw Grande and Corden mashing up 13 pop songs, all performed through nine sets and performed in a single take. We relived Jack and Rose first coming aboard the ship to Styx's "Come Sail Away". But they quickly make up, and suddenly Jack is sketching Rose's figure to the tune of "Shape of You". In just five minutes, Grande and Corden created a complicated musical tribute to James Cameron's Titanic that's both super accurate and unbelievable. Suddenly stranded on the floating piece of wood, Grande and Corden hit Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" and the thematically-appropriate "Bye Bye Bye".

The "No Tears Left to Cry" singer was in good spirits though, tweeting a pic of her bandage and later sharing on Twitter that she had "the best day ever" filming and is excited for fans to see what "we been up to".

Grande's Sweetener is out Friday.
