Blizzard confirms multiple Diablo projects in development

Diablo's Community Manager Brandy Camel has taken to the airwaves with news that is sure to twitterpate even the most jaded Diablo fan: There are MULTIPLE Diablo projects in the works, though some will take longer than others to complete.

We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project.

Blizzard is gearing up for something big with regards to the Diablo series and has been for some time, but we still don't quite know what the developer has been cooking. As to what these Diablo projects will be? So whether you first joined us in "D3" or you're a seasoned veteran, thank you.

Today, Blizzard put out a new video on Twitter which reveals more about the future of the Diablo franchise.

According to Camel, "multiple Diablo projects" are in the works, and the team "may" have some things to show regarding the projects this year. "Diablo is, and always will be, part of Blizzard's identity, and we can't wait for the future". Diablo III's launch was pretty disastrous, what with the bad Battle.net issues, terrible difficulty scaling, poor drop rates, and the terrifying Real Money Auction House.

BlizzCon 2018 runs from Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4 this year.
