The 35-year-old country star announced the news in a video on her Instagram account on Wednesday (August 8). In the two-part video clip, Carrie also talked about her upcoming album Cry Pretty and her tour, kicking off next year.

Carrie Underwood is pregnant and expecting her second child with her husband Mike Fisher!

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. through the PNC Arena box office, Ticketmaster and Carrie Underwood's official website.

The camera zoomed out to show her sitting under a sign that read "Baby".

"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond", she says.

Bizarrely, the happy news comes just days after the singer lamented that she's left it too late to fulfill her dream of having more children. "We're just so excited that you guys can share this with us and be a part of this with us".

The seven-time Grammy Award victor will release a new album, "Cry Pretty", on September 14.

Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first child, Isaiah, in February of 2015.

The country music songstress also confided that she and her National Hockey League star husband had considered alternative options for growing their brood. Underwood recently spoke to Redbook about expanding their brood.

"I'm 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family", she told the magazine.
