Foles: No beef with Brady over Super Bowl handshake snub

Foles: No beef with Brady over Super Bowl handshake snub

There are some clear shots at the Patriots in the billboard that show the score of the game on the player's jerseys with the Eagles while in the middle is a dog in the similar attire that Eagles center Jason Kelce wore to the championship celebration parade.

Brady relayed that he was never trying to avoid Foles after the heartbreaking Super Bowl defeat.

Unlike last week though, the Eagles will have their Super Bowl MVP back in action as Nick Foles is set to make his 2018 preseason debut after dealing with an upper-body injury. Hoyer and Danny Etling were in the pocket for the Patriots during New England's first preseason game, which ended in a 26-17 win over Washington.

Carson Wentz still hopes to start Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, but the timing will be close as he recovers from a torn ACL. He's a great guy. Sudfeld played most of the next three quarters, completing 22 of 39 passes for 312 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Not surprisingly, though, some observers made at least a little deal out of a pregame moment Thursday, when Brady strode across the field at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., to shake the hand of the opposing quarterback. The hit knocked Foles out of the game.

Asked at a postgame news conference about that encounter with Foles, Brady said that he "did hear" some of the chatter about his alleged Super Bowl snub.

"I have a lot of respect for Nick and Carson, all those quarterbacks, and that team and the way they played", Brady added.

Officially, Foles has been diagnosed with a shoulder strain.

The Patriots will find out the extent of Foles' injury on Friday.
