Martial hits back amid reports of club fine

A Manchester United star, who left his club's training camp in the USA last week, could reportedly be slapped with a huge fine for his recent actions that have angered Jose Mourinho.

The public discomfort between the pair has done nothing to slow down chatter about the possibility of the Frenchman's departure from the club following what was a hard second half to a campaign for him last season.

Signing Martial would be one of these decisions as his arrival would guarantee goals and even more quality to a front three that scored 90 goals last season.

Meanwhile, Mourinho says he is unsure when Martial, who wants a transfer this summer, will re-start training after leaving United's US training base last week for the birth of his son.

United face Bayern Munich in their final pre-season friendly on Sunday, before their season gets under way with the visit of Leicester City on 10 August.

La Liga starts a week later than the Premier League so new Real manager Julen Lopetegui was able to name the likes of Gareth Bale to start while Germany star Toni Kroos was on the bench.

He said: "I know what Herrera is, I know what Mata is, I know what Sanchez is, I know what they are".

"I am not a big fan of some player to start the Premier League with one club and a couple of weeks later the transfer window is still open and he moves to another club and he plays against his former club".

"It has been very good for them",
Ander told us.

"Rashford, Jones and Lukaku, are coming back three days early to try to be available for the team".

"I don't think he is a great leader", Mourinho said of Bailly while adding that newly appointed captain Antonio Valencia's physical preparation was below expectations.

Despite that though, Mourinho's methods have brought success, winning the League Cup and Europa League in his first season, before achieving the best finish in terms of both points and league position last season since the retirement of Fergie. "But as I was saying to the players, some of my players they will be an awesome condition".
