Sacha Baron Cohen Pranks Roy Moore With "Paedophile Detector"

Sacha Baron Cohen Pranks Roy Moore With

On Sunday's episode of Sacha Baron Cohen's Showtime series "Who Is America?". "It turns out that sex offenders - and particularly pedophiles - secrete an enzyme for DDHT, which is actually detectable". "So in Israel they've developed a machine that is used in schools to detect anyone coming in and if they detect the paedophile it alerts the law enforcement". "It is very, very simple to use", he says.

Switching on the wand, Cohen tells Moore, "Because neither of us are sex offenders" the wand should be silent. Cohen said before the wand started beeping when he put it near Moore.

He glided the detector over an uncomfortable-looking Moore again and it continued to beep.

"It must be faulty. Did you lend the jacket to somebody else?" he asks in a tone of concern as Moore grimaces.

Within minutes, Baron Cohen steered the interview onto the topic of how to scientifically identify whether a person is a sex offender.

"No", Moore responds. "I've been married for 33 [years]". That time when he chanted before a meal with the conservative couple from SC, then told them about how his children, named Harvey Milk and Malala, go to the bathroom politically correctly, then told them about how his wife has affairs with dolphins - I was blind with tears of laughter.

Prior to the episode's airing, Moore confirmed he was interviewed and said he was set up while attending a pro-Isreal in Washington, D.C. earlier in the year. "It's malfunctioning", Cohen says, as Moore keeps a tight smile.

In a flurried exchanged, Baron Cohen tells Moore the machine is 99-percent accurate. "It is not saying that you are a pedophile, of course not".

Roy Moore then cut off the interview. "I support Israel, I don't support this kind of stuff".

Even as Cohen says, "I'm not accusing you at all", Moore continues, "If this is an instrument - certainly, I'm not a pedophile". "I did not know Sacha Cohen or that a Showtime TV series was being planned to embarrass, humiliate, and mock not only Israel, but also religious conservatives such as Sarah Palin, Joe Walsh, and Dick Cheney".
