Stormy Daniels drops out of 'Celebrity Big Brother'

The American adult film star was expected to be in the line-up of the Channel 5 reality show, but reportedly dropped out at the last minute on Thursday evening.

Her departure has apparently left producers particularly red-faced as the Celebrity Big Brother launch show set had been created to reference the 39-year-old's alleged affair with the President.

The adult film star, whose accusations of an affair with Donald Trump have dogged the USA president, was due to appear as the high-profile guest star on the long-running reality TV series.

Michael Avenatti, who has been representing Daniels in her lawsuits against Trump, told the Daily Mail that his notorious client pulled out of the reality show over a conflict with how she would be portrayed.

The 39-year-old was reportedly due to make a hefty US$950,000 fee - but she apparently backed out after producers refused her demands to be paid another US$130,000 to go in as planned.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, then failed to appear on ITV's Loose Women on Friday despite turning up at the studio ahead of filming.

Host Jane Moore spoke to her off camera and said both absences were due to a "custody development".

Daniels' daughter is seven, and going into the Celebrity Big Brother could have isolated Daniels from the outside world for several weeks. "But now the cast has caught wind of the deal Stormy made for her stint on the show, and the number is mind-boggling".

"She said being a mother comes first. She says she is furious and wants to be sat here".

"She says also that the stories about her asking for more money are complete rubbish. I could experience prison in an institution without really having to go there", Alley said, as reported by Deadline.

He added: "They insisted she conduct herself in a certain way - they attempted to control her and produce a certain result, which she did not feel comfortable with".

Daniels, an adult film actress who sued Donald Trump over a non-disclosure agreement she was made to sign ahead of the 2016 United States presidential election, reportedly pulled out of appearing on the programme despite travelling to London from her home in Texas.

She alleged the cash was to stop her claiming she had an affair with Mr Trump in 2006.
