Sunday storm chances followed by cooler weather

Hot and humid tomorrow as highs reach the upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

However, next weekend will not be a wash out but if you have outdoor plans best to do it earlier in the day rather than later. We are on the low end of the spectrum of severe weather for this system all moving ahead of a cold front, but still need to give caution to the possible strong storms. Highs will stay in the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a 20-percent chance for storms each afternoon. Showers and storms will pop up again each afternoon.

The chance of rain will diminish late this evening.

Mostly sunny and warmer Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Hail and gusty winds will be the main threats. But right now a widespread outbreak is not in the cards. Coverage with the showers and storms 30%-40%.

Expect fair to partly cloudy skies through the night time. A low pressure center will get cutoff from the larger flow just to our southwest. By the second half of the week the rain chances then slowly move out and things dry up. Otherwise, clouds will slow down warming and highs will reach the upper 80s. There will be at least a chance of thunderstorms each day.
