Voter ID required to stop Democrats' push for non-citizens to vote

Voter ID required to stop Democrats' push for non-citizens to vote

The Trump administration last week announced plans for $12 billion in temporary aid to help farmers deal with retaliatory tariffs from US trading partners in response to Trump's policies.

President Donald Trump is wrongly claiming that Americans need photo IDs to buy groceries as he rails against the idea of noncitizens voting. 'The time has come for voter ID, ' Trump said Tuesday night at a rally in Tampa, Fla., which earned him a roar of approval and sustained applause from the crowd.

"I want to thank our farmers", Trump said. The AP noted that "it's unclear when the president last purchased groceries or anything else himself".

Shoppers only need to present ID if buying age-related products from grocery stores, such as tobacco and alcohol, or state-regulated products, including certain medications.

Trump endorsed Gov. Rick Scott's bid to unseat Democratic Sen. "It's time to vote Bill Nelson out of office". The Democrats are not voting for what we want to do. He issued a vialed threat about a government shutdown unless congress acts to fully fund a boarder wall.

Trump is praising DeSantis as "a tough, brilliant cookie" and predicts: "He's going to be your next governor".

DeSantis is facing off against state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam in the state's August 28 Republican primary.

"Voter ID!" Trump declared at the campaign style rally Tampa where he was allegedly stumping for GOP Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis. "And after while, you forget, who's the senator?"

There would be other Trump campaign mentions throughout the 30 second spot.

President Donald Trump's latest head-scratching comment has lit up the internet.

Putnam, a state agriculture commissioner and former congressman, has run a more traditional campaign for governor, aiming to build upon his family's deep ties to the state.

Casey DeSantis appears again at the end to say that while people might assume her husband is "all Trump" all the time, in reality he is "so much more" than that.
