Apple set to roll out new iPhones this September?

Apple has officially set a date for the reveal of its 2018 iPhones: September 12th. It also said the phone maker planned to release a new version of the Apple Watch, with a larger display and reduced edges.

The company will unveil its renewed iPhone strategy at the event. Last year, details about the iPhone X, cellular Apple Watch, and HomePod speaker emerged early via software accidentally released online by Apple. There have been reports that Apple will stream the event on Twitter, but Apple has not confirmed this as of this writing.

Tech giant Apple's new products will be unveiled at 10 am on Sept 12 at the firm's new campus in Cupertino, California, news website Sina reported on Friday.

Apple is always anxious about its suppliers leaking images and parts for its upcoming products, but in recent years, numerous most critical leaks have come from within.

According to 9 to 5 Mac, the XS will feature two display sizes, 6.5 inches and 5.8 inches. Apple will try to attract fans with the LCD iPhone model as it will be very competitively priced.

Apple is also expected to update its iPad Pro models with screens and features that mimic the iPhone X, including FaceID and gesture controls. The source's information suggests that a new gold colour will be available for this (5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED ) iPhone XS design. It has 6.1-inch LCD screen, aluminium-based shell and a 2,600 (or 2700) mAh battery.

On the day of the event, three iPhone models are going to be launched. The two OLED iPhones will have price tags from $800 to $1000 with dual-lens and stainless steel frames.

Most notable was its edge-to-edge display with a "notch" or cutout housing the device's front-facing sensors. Along with this, the company can also provide wireless charging support.

Apart from iPhone, the event will bring the launch of Apple Watch Series 4 too. It's unclear what that image may be referencing, but it does resemble Apple Park's circular shape.
