Heidi Klum: Drake asked me out and 'I never texted him back'

Heidi Klum: Drake asked me out and 'I never texted him back'

"And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is so weird.' But then I never texted him back because I found the love of my life".

She said she was single at the time, but Klum has since been dating musician Tom Kaulitz. "You really did", she told DeGeneres.

"No", Heidi said. "I mean, what do you do? You know when you're attracted to someone so badly you're like, 'Oh my gosh, I can't even look at him.' So, I had to sit next to him instead of across because then I would have had to look at him". Later, Heidi apologized, saying, "Drake, I'm sorry I didn't text you back". It was wonderful! So, anyone: The day when you don't want to go out-that's when you have to go out! While Klum seemed to have a bit of a crush on Drizzy, she says the Toronto MC hit up her up a week too late, since she had just gotten into a relationship with someone else.

Sorry, Drake. But in love and rap, timing is everything. I still love your music. I came home at night and it was my friend's birthday. In the end, Heidi found her person.

Though Ellen was stunned by Heidi's story, the America's Got Talent judge failed to see any problem with her texting etiquette and reasoned that she wouldn't have known how to respond.

As for whether she's open to the idea, Klum adds, "Maybe". "It was like an immediate [spark]", Klum said. She revealed that Drake had actually reached out to her to go on a date but that she never answered him, issuing an apology directly to the camera in case he was watching.

Heidi said her "new baby" was a "Project Runway"-esque show she's partnered up with Amazon to create because she feels Amazon is "the future" of shopping".

Somehow, we think the ever-romantic rapper won't be too torn up about the missed connection - "God's Plan", y'know? "I mean we met what is now six-and-half-months ago, and I love him very much".
