Mac Miller Was Reportedly Dead for Hours Before His Body Was Found

When paramedics were called to his place, the rapper was pronounced dead at the scene.

A desperate 911 call made by a friend of rapper Mac Miller on the night he died has been released.

It is not known if the man was with him at the time, as he told the dispatcher he had last spoken with Miller "yesterday". At one point, the caller begs, "Please hurry".

"We're already on the way there now", the responder assured.

As Radar previously reported, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call made from Miller's home at 11:42 a.m. on September 7. The LAPD confirmed to Radar they found him dead upon arrival. He was just 26 years old.

The night before his death from a suspected drug overdose, Miller reportedly hosted a party at his house where friends hung around until the early hours of the following morning.

According to reports, he was dead for hours before he was found.

After police investigated Mac Miller's home after he was found dead, they said the house was wiped clean of any drugs or paraphernalia with the exception of a small amount of white powder.

The call to the emergency services stated that the rapper wasn't breathing and was unresponsive.

A full toxicology report will not be finalized for four to six weeks, meaning despite the preliminary conclusions of authorities, Miller's death certificate still states his cause of death as "deferred".
