TCU Horned Frogs lead Ohio State Buckeyes 14-13 at halftime

When All-American defensive end Nick Bosa, whose strip-sack resulted in Ohio State's first touchdown, left with an injury, it looked like this just might not be the Buckeyes' night.

The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 15 TCU Horned Frogs will kick off their showdown tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern. The Horned Frogs gained 289 yards. It appeared, on video, that Ohio State tackle Jones touched the football with his foot out of bounds out the back door, which might have caused a safety before Davon Hamilton corralled it for a touchdown and a 10-0 lead and a hint that the night would bring the formality it ultimately did not.

Led by offensive coordinator Ryan Day, the Ohio State offense was largely stymied by a TCU defense that had an answer for every play. Ohio State has not offered an official announcement on the nature or severity of the injury, but the quick decision to strike him from action for the rest of the game does not inspire confidence in a speedy return to play.

Ohio State was first to score in Saturday ngiht's game. TCU led Ohio State 14-13.

They will also have a show on The Ozone Facebook page after the postgame interviews end. It became a pivotal part of the Frogs' seven-play, 84-yard touchdown trip, which ended with Sewo Olonilua's six-yard touchdown run, also on third down. Next up, Ohio State will go up against Tulane on September 22nd at home, this time with Urban Meyer whose suspension will be up while TCU will face off against Texas in its Big 12 opener. But Nuernberger's 38-yard field goal attempt was wide left to keep it 14-13.
