The Baywatch actress simply posted "R.I.P. Verne Troyer" along with the image. "With your support, I got this".

"Depression and suicide are very serious issues", the message continued.

Mini-Me actor Verne Troyer died of suicide by alcohol intoxication, a coroner in Los Angeles has said.

"The manner of death was certified as a suicide".

In the full coroner's report obtained exclusively obtained by Radar, the medical examiner claimed the star suffered from "suicidal ideations", "depression" and "chronic alcohol use" before taking his own life. The post went on to explain that Troyer had struggled with alcoholism in the years leading up to his passing.

"I had a bit of an alcohol problem", Troyer told the Hollywood Reporter in 2016. It took a few months for the Coroner's Office to determine what actually killed the "Austin Powers" actor.

As well as Austin Powers, Troyer, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009, starred in films including Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Men in Black.

Troyer appeared in the sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother back in 2009 alongside stars including La Toya Jackson, Tina Malone, Michelle Heaton and eventual victor Ulrika Jonsson. Just a year earlier, he voluntarily checked into a treatment center.

He was active on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and even ran his own YouTube channel, which boasts more than 800,000 subscribers.

On hearing of his death, Mike Myers said: "Verne was the consummate professional and a beacon of positivity for those of us who had the honour of working with him".
