Chelsea's Eden Hazard 'no risk' to play vs BATE Maurizio Sarri

The Daily Mirror is claiming that the east London club are keen on a move to try and bring the England global to the London Stadium for the second half of the current campaign.

This evening's game provides an opportunity for Maurizio Sarri's men to reach the knockout stages of the Europa League. We didn't manage the last 15 minutes well.

"The best thing is the result".

Chelsea have been impressive under Maurizio Sarri this season, now unbeaten in all competitions since a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield.

"Cesc Fabregas is a great player but what he gives Chelsea on top of what Cesc can't do is he can drive and take players out of the game from a central midfield position".

He added: "Today I was in trouble, too". I had fever. It was a very hard day for me. "I don't know if I am improving or if it is only the temperature".

"In the last match he played only for 30 minutes".

Hazard had been due to be off by then and Sarri was gesticulating wildly in his technical area, apparently towards the Belgian.

Giroud netted early in the second half.

Giroud struck moments later, heading in Emerson Palmieri's cross at the near post.

And while Sarri admits his star won't play 90 minutes, there is no risk attached to him being involved.

Giroud told BT Sport: "It's true, I was hoping to score soon because I came back late from the World Cup and lacked a bit of luck".

"But you always need to keep working hard in training and keep believing, keep the faith". The Blues are now six points clear of the three other teams in Group L with just nine points to play for and a win would see them unreachable for the team in third. I think it is the opposite.

'But I don't want him to be anxious about scoring because, for us, he's very important and very useful.

"I think he's vital for the way Chelsea want to play".
