Emma Stone changed her name to be like Spice Girls' Baby Spice

In a new taped interview for The Jonathan Ross Show, which will air in the United Kingdom on Saturday, Mel C says, "Do you know what is actually quite amusing?" I saw Victoria recently and obviously, we have all been in contact, she's still very much a part of the Spice Girls, she supports us and we support her.

Emma changed her name from Emily when she became an actress, but noted that the change actually happened years before.

The group got back together for a tour in 2007-2008 and also performed at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

"Oh, was she not?"

Geri admitted they all "knew" Victoria wouldn't want to be involved because she's "moved on" and is very busy with her fashion empire. During a press tour in 2014, Stone was famously brought to tears when she received a video message from Mel B in Australia.

Host Jonathan replied: "But having said that, I still think you should have offered her the opportunity..."

The famous five are back down to four as VB turned down the chance to spice up our lives one more time - or so we thought.

Geri added: 'She just didn't want to do it.

'We realised that a while back that she didn't enjoy that so much, ' Emma said.

Mel C on whether she demanded the other Spice Girls have vocal training before their comeback!

Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton announced earlier this week to announce they were getting back together for a United Kingdom stadium tour and they've admitted they didn't invite the fashion designer to be part of their plans because they "assumed" she'd be unavailable.

'I know they will put on an incredible show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!

The Jonathan Ross Show airs tomorrow night at 10:05pm on ITV.
