'Saturday Night Live' Hilariously Cranks Up Panic Over The Caravan

For its last pre-election episode of the season, Saturday Night Live weighed in on the all-consuming conversations surrounding Tuesday's midterms by lampooning the two very distinct political perspectives in play right now: those on the right who are counting on the so-called "caravan" of would-be immigrants to stir up a voter frenzy and those on the left who are still quivering from the 2016 presidential election results and nervously eyeing those polls with wavering optimism.

"The liberal media is trying to label President Trump a racist", said McKinnon's Ingraham, "but except for his words and actions throughout his life, how is he racist?"

That much proved true during this week's cold open, in which Kate McKinnon - in the persona of Fox News host Laura Ingraham - took a jab at an SNL regular: Alec Baldwin. McKinnon-as-Ingraham asks. She also bemoans the fact that the phrase "white nationalist" is now considered "bad".

"It's an absolute disgrace", said Strong's Pirro. "It's got Guatemalans, Mexicans, ISIS, the Menendez Brothers, the 1990 Detroit Pistons, Thanos, and several babadooks".

It also has "hella" Middle Eastern Aladdins. Aerial footage he provided of the caravan was just a clip of crabs. "It makes nearly too much sense".

The horrifying scramble of migrants looks surprisingly like a zombie horde straight from a scene in the film "World War Z" - with Brad Pitt.

The caravan is made up of thousands of men, women and children, but you wouldn't know it by Fox News.

"My God, and those are humans?" asked McKinnon's Ingraham. And they're holding the babies in until the exact moment they cross the border and then they're literally gonna drop anchor.

"Alec Baldwin also told me "I hope you choke to death" when I was on assignment, staking out his house", Palmeri wrote of an incident that she said happened in 2013 when she was a reporter for the New York Post.

The tips? "Never Vote on Tuesdays...ballots can be confusing -if you see an R on the ballot that means "really a Democrat" and the letter D means 'dassa Republican, and tip three, you already voted".
