Thugs of Hindostan movie review: Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan - starrer disappoints

The film critic rated Thugs of Hindostan with 2 stars. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial is produced by Yash Raj Films and has awesome music composed by the very talented duo Ajay-Atul.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan (centre) leaves Jodhpur Airport as he arrived for a shoot on his upcoming movie "Thugs of Hindostan" in Jodhpur March 8, 2018. Thugs of Hindostan, one of the most awaited films of the year starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zeeshan Ayub has hit theatres amid the grand Diwali festivities.

Khudabaksh (Amitabh Bachchan) is like a commander who uses some wily tactics to fool the Britishers and loot a ship for his fight. But just with its release, the movie has already beaten Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and Aamir's Dangal.

Although the film has not gone up to the mark and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stated this film a totally disappointing.

"#ThugsOfHindostan may reap the benefit of the holiday period + tremendous hype + impressive names in its cast..." Taran Adarsh tweeted, 'All that glitters is NOT gold. Some engrossing moments in the first hour, that's about it... What ensues from hereon forms the crux of "Thugs Of Hindostan". #TOH is a golden opportunity lost, a KING-SIZED DISAPPOINTMENT!' Shoddy screenplay, mundane action sequences, extremely lousy direction and a bygone story.

However, reportedly Aamir isn't confident about this film like his previous flicks and with the trailer getting a divide talk, the suspense continues.

"The Conclusion" no movie has got pan-India coverage and forget about the box office collections.
