Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk arrives in United Kingdom to fight Tony Bellew

A close friend of pound-for-pound king Vasyl Lomachenko, the Kiev native comes into the Bellew fight as the undisputed champion at 200lbs and he certainly packs a punch as some of his past opponents will no doubt testify.

In spite of Bellew twice upsetting the odds when beating David Haye in back-to-back meetings, this is not the toughest test of the short career of Usyk.

'Had no problems during the flight, I am feeling well.

He doesn't look that risky, but slowly and surely, he's breaking you down with those body shots, his angles make him a very awkward guy to fight and anybody that's shared the ring with him have said they just couldn't get to grips with him. I will try to speak less and do more, ' Usyk having arrived said.

"But, the thing with boxing, from like middleweight up, it takes one punch".

"He then asked the WBC for permission to make a life-changing fight, which was David Haye".

Usyk has trained for years alongside Vasyl Lomachenko, the world lightweight and pound-for-pound No.1, but Bellew insists the cruiserweight king is not as good as his fellow Ukrainian.

You think to yourself, as hurtful as the strength and conditioning sessions are, as much as the sparring hurts, actually this is the last time I'm going to do it. "If he does, you're in for the best night of fighting ever". Even though Bellew eventually won, it shows you that he can be hurt, he can be dropped by a southpaw. But all fighters have vulnerabilities and I have to expose his. I wanted to say, the new stage in the UK. But Tony will be going into this fight with confidence, he riding high off his recent victories and he's going to feel invincible stepping into the ring. I am not going to speak too much because the one who speaks a lot does little. But I will get to him. "I would prefer to fight for them at catchweight, but I am the lineal champion at light-heavyweight, so I would like four more belts". He's got to fight until the last second of the last round, and put the pressure on him late.
