Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds is an amazing-looking space-based Fallout game

As expected from the trailer, The Outer Worlds is a first-person, single-player RPG. A first-person shooter in a frightful universe that has seen capitalism run amok and infect numerous other planets, The Outer Worlds mixes the harsh materialism of society with a somewhat amusing look at the future.

The latest Obsidian game is The Outer Worlds, as revealed at the Game Awards 2018. Set in a quirky sci-fi universe filled to the brim with humor, attractive vistas, and unsafe aliens, the game manages to blend elements of Fallout, Mass Effect, and even Bioshock into one package. In it, you are a part of a colonist ship heading to the far reaches of outer space.

Players will be able to create their own unique character, but much like Cyberpunk 2077, The Outer Worlds takes place entirely in the first person. Will you be getting this when it launches next year?
