Trump golf club employs undocumented workers

She's not the only Bedminster employee who is undocumented.

Morales and Diaz - who both cleaned Trump's clothes and personal space at Bedminster - recalled generally being treated well by Trump, at times receiving $50 or $100 tips, but Morales said her supervisors have made more of an issue of her immigration status since Trump declared his presidential candidacy - though an unnamed manager still helped her obtain a false green card. The address listed is Trump Tower in NY.

The Trump Organization, which owns the golf course, did not comment specifically on Ms.[Victorina] Morales or Ms.[Sandra] Diaz.

Morales and Diaz both said they have interacted with Trump directly a number of times, describing him as a good tipper but "extremely meticulous" to the point that he once closely inspected the edges of frames for dust. She also claimed to the newspaper that a housekeeping supervisor at Bedminster made insulting comments about her intelligence and undocumented status.

President Donald Trump answers questions from the press while departing the White House on November 29 in Washington, D.C. An undocumented immigrant revealed she was employed as a housekeeper at Trump's National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

'There are many people without papers, ' said Diaz.

"We have tens of thousands of employees across our properties and have very strict hiring practices,"a Trump Organization spokesperson told the Times".

"Ms. Morales has had an unusual window into one of the president's favorite retreats", The Times continues. 'We sweat it out to attend to his every need and have to put up with his humiliation'.

Soon after Trump launched his run for the presidency, several illegal workers had shifts axed.

"My clients are willing to cooperate with federal authorities and with state authorities so they can provide details", Romero said.

Morales said she chose to speak out because she felt exhausted of the president's unceasing vilification of immigrants.

To ascertain that she was in fact an employee of the club, The Times reviewed Morales' pay stubs and W-2 forms, which list the golf course as her employer.

A spokeswoman for the golf club said in a statement that any employee found to have submitted false documentation would be immediately fired. "We call upon New Jersey's law enforcement community and federal authorities to investigate these allegations immediately and to help protect these fearless women and others who may now come forward", Romero added.

But throughout his campaign and his administration, Morales, 45, has been reporting for work at Trump's golf course in Bedminster, where she is still on the payroll.

Their attorney Anibal Romero claims at least a dozen undocumented immigrants are on the club's payroll which, if true, conflicts with the president's position on illegal immigration. CBS News reached out to the White House but have not heard back.
