Actress Kangana Ranaut is determined to fight against the Shri Rajput Karni Sena, who have threatened protests if the film is not screened for the outfit before theatrical release.

The Karni Sena has alleged that Kangana's character in the film dances to a special number, arguing that this was against the tradition. "We won't tolerate such nonsense", said Sukhdev Singh Shekhavat, who is Karni Sena's National Head. Ranaut claims that the group is "harassing" her over her film "Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi" which is releasing on Friday, January 25. "Manikarnika will face the same outcome", he said. They had also said that the film will face protests. After Padmaavat, Karni Sena is out to hamper the release of this period drama. "If they don't stop then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them", the actress said. The film is produced by Zee Studios in association with Nishant Pitti and Kamal Jain. She makes some statements, especially around the release of her film that gets unwanted attention.
