To unlock all of the story information, players will first need to complete the Kingdom Hearts 3 campaign and meet a series of requirements, though these requirements have yet to be specified. Go behind sora and his friends as they attempt to stop Heartless, an evil force, as they hold over the universe. These updates include an Epilogue and a secret video.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming this month at long last, finally wrapping up the trilogy. All we know is that players must have beat the game, seen the ending, and then fulfill some other hidden criteria during the game. The update will add an Epilogue video. Using this method, gamers who gain access to the game early in Japan starting January 25, and those who power through the campaign on January 29 should be unable to immediately spoil the ending and "ruin" the game for those who've yet to complete it. This was followed by another that claims the epilogue and post-credits secret movie to be "additional elements" implying that Kingdom Hearts 3's epilogue isn't core or intrinsic to the game's experience. Game Publisher, Square Enix has revealed the update schedule of its upcoming title Kingdom of Heart 3 on their official Twitter account just before its actual Launch.

Square Enix is also releasing the same three content items for the global version of the game, but on a different time schedule. Similar to previous titles, we're guessing that you'll have to sit through all the credits before you get to watch the epilogue. Apparently, both pieces of content are meant to further the fans' "enjoyment of the world of Kingdom Hearts".
