Maurizio Sarri calls Bayern Munich ‘unprofessional’ after Callum Hudson-Odoi pursuit

Regardless of Hudson-Odoi's future, Sarri has recommended Chelsea sign two new players to bolster his squad. "So they didn't respect our club, I think".

Hudson-Odoi is the son of former Hearts of Oak Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Odoi which makes him eligible to play for the senior national team, Black Stars, despite representing England at every age group from under-16 to under-19 level.

However, Sarri did effectively confirm it by stating that he wants replacements brought in for Fabregas and striker Alvaro Morata should they leave. Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have been linked with the Spain striker.

While Sarri has been very open about the fact he has little say over transfers at Stamford Bridge, the Italian coach is expected to at least let his club hierarchy know what positions he feels his side need strengthening in.

Higuain has not enjoyed his time at AC Milan, where he is now on loan from Juventus, and would welcome a move to west London. I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot.

"At the moment, Morata is here. He is really very important for us and it is impossible to lose him in January".

The Blues are now being linked with a host of potential reinforcements this month as Maurizio Sarri considers bolstering his squad ahead of the second half of the season.

"It's insane. I think the January market window would be better for one week or 10 days, no more".

Hudson-Odoi is available to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday, but Sarri said he would monitor the 18-year-old's condition after noticing fatigue this week.

He was directly involved in 20 goals across all competitions last season and his improvement in the next few years would be fascinating to see under Sarri's tutelage.
