Resident Evil 2 1-shot demo will only let you play once

Resident Evil 2 1-shot demo will only let you play once

Resident Evil 2 Remake is out proper on January 25.

For reference, that first demo has now been removed, but this second demo will be released in a couple of weeks time for both PS4 and Xbox One players on February 7.

Resident Evil 2 will be receiving a new one-shot demo soon on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Capcom's "1-shot" demo for the remake will give players a mere 30 minutes to complete it, before the doors are closed. You won't be able to restart the demo once finished, but the trailer can be viewed indefinitely when it's unlocked.

The Resident Evil 2 demo timer will pause anytime you're scrolling through the game's menus.

Capcom has revealed that it is dropping a Resident Evil 2 demo on Friday, but it's not quite what you might expect...

If you die, the countdown will continue. During that timeframe, players can download the demo and experience a playable slice of the full game starring Leon Kennedy. It's effectively a whole new game, but covering the same plot points as Resident Evil 2, with heavy controls created to evoke that sense of claustrophobia we know the series so well for.

Resident Evil 2 releases for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on January 25th, 2019.

Capcom is letting survival horror fans have a sneak peek of the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake before it officially debuts.

Players may remember that early on in the game, Leon turns up for the first day of work at Raccoon City's police station only to find the city already overrun by infected zombies. Is 30 minutes enough? Also, you can watch this video as many times as you want.
