‘Simmba’ continues stronghold over box office, is a certified blockbuster

Starring Ranveer Singh, Simmba has been dominating the box office since opening day. The film is just a few days away from Rs 200 crore mark. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba minted Rs 9.02 crore and Rs 13.32 crore on its second Friday and Saturday, respectively. Along with India, Simmba is also roaring at the box office worldwide. The latter kicked off recently and the filmmaker soon aims to make it big enough to get many filmmakers under his wings, so that they can direct films under the banner. Will emerge Ranveer's second highest grosser today, surpassing Bajirao Mastani. Earning over $683k on Friday and $793k on Saturday, the film has earned $9.884 million (Rs 68.76) in global markets.

The movie continued to pull massive audience on second Sunday as well, registering excellent day 10 earning. "The lifetime collections have a shot at Rs 250 crore nett but it will depend on the holds in week three and week four", the report stated". With 27 crores, Simmba stands with highest first Tuesday earnings of the year. Rohit might have announced the movie name through Akshay's cameo in Simmba, but never confirmed who the actress would be.
