Sunday activities at Harford County schools canceled because of impending snow

Forecasters say the heaviest snow is expected to fall late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures will slip to the upper 20s and back to the upper 30s on Saturday. There will be periods of light to moderate snowfall, which was expected to develop northeasterly across the area through Saturday, tapering off in the evening hours, officials said.

A little rain may mix in with snow at times as temperatures, mainly in our southern counties, have come just above freezing this afternoon.

As for snowfall accumulations, a general three to six inches is expected. This means, we will see lower snow totals in those areas.
