Susan Boyle Gets Golden Buzzer On 'America's Got Talent: The Champions'

Susan Boyle Gets Golden Buzzer On 'America's Got Talent: The Champions'

Susan first appeared on Britain's Got Talent back in 2009 and surprised the audience with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream.

Singing for Simon for the first time in nine years, Susan broke out into the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses", featured on her debut album. "I want that jaw-dropping moment, ' because you are what the show is", Howie Mandel added.

The judge and former Spice Girl told Boyle she had "an angelic voice" and said she was giving her "what she deserves" as she slammed the Golden Buzzer.

The America's Got Talent: The Champions team are absolutely living for golden buzzer act Susan Boyle.

Susan Boyle made a dramatic comeback to Got Talent on the USA version, and was awarded the coveted Golden Buzzer for her emotional performance.

She was taking part in the all-star version of the show, America's Got Talent: The Champions.

She continued: "You don't expect people to be that excited about you".

Still, Boyle says she has "something to prove" on The Champions, and calls herself a champion "for those who don't have the confidence to do things, for those who don't have a voice (and) the ones who people tend to ignore". "Coming in second doesn't mean you lost, it's an unfulfilled promise".

Deciding to have fun with one of the biggest stars that have come out of Britain's Got Talent, Simon Cowell jokingly asked for Boyle's name before he said: "God, this brings back so many memories".

"The anniversary of her audition which made headlines around the world is the flawless time to launch a career comeback, and Simon and Susan are both very excited about the year ahead". I'm glad I stepped on that stage.

Pleased that she had returned to the franchise that made her a household name, Cowell added: "I can not think of any other contestant who has defined this show better than you".

Boyle said she chose to return to the show for a second chance and how she would "love to win" this time.

It just goes to show that one performance on a talent show, like Boyle's iconic 2009 audition, really can change a person's life forever.
