Trump mocks global warming in tweet amid Midwest chill

Keeping up with his penchant for simply creating words, US President Donald Trump has asked global "waming" to make a return for "beautiful Midwest" in the country, which is now experiencing chilly weather conditions due to a polar vortex.

The US President called for "Global Waming (sic)" to return and combat the cold conditions.

"You're kidding, right?! You do know Global Warming is causing climate change which means MORE deeper colder winters for the Midwest sad #badforfarmers #ActOnClimate #ClimateChangeIsReal", another reply read.

The Toronto Star's Washington correspondent, Daniel Dale, publicly grappled with whether Trump's latest foolish remarks deserved any attention. It helps you control the global warming in your house and it works with WiFi.

In response to his tweet, several users mocked the president for his incorrect words and misunderstanding of climate change versus weather. There is a huge difference between weather and climate that Trump just doesnt understand or intentionally misleads people. In fact, cold snaps like this are predicted to get more common as the planet gets warmer, because the energy loss from melting Arctic sea ice disrupts the "polar vortex" that traps cold air at the North Pole, allowing freezing winds to migrate to lower latitudes.

In December 2017, the president suggested that global warming doesn't exist - but, once again, thought it could help against the cold. "Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against", Trump wrote on Twitter.

United Nations' World Meteorological Organization Secretary-General Petteri Taalas warned in 2018 that temperatures are predicted to rise up to 9 degrees by the end of the century.
