Yes, your eyes are alright, Xiaomi really posted an upside-down photo of Lei Jun and Manu Kumar Jain posing with the Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 7 which is also called "Little King Kong" comes with an 18-month long warranty and it is the first smartphone in the industry to use such a warranty.

On the specification front, Redmi Note 7 is the first device from Xiaomi to come with a waterdrop notch display. At this point, it is unclear if Xiaomi plans to release both Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro phones in India, or just one of these phones. The highlight of the Redmi Note 7 is the 48MP camera on the rear side and Xiaomi India is touting the same. Last week, Xiaomi confirmed that the brand would soon update the Redmi Note 7 with the Super Night Scene mode.

The Redmi Note 7 was unveiled in Beijing a couple weeks ago. Let us have a look at its specifications, expected launch date and pricing in India. The 2.5D curved glass body is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. However, as we recently reported, the brand is also going to launch 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options in China. It is powered by 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. It sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ glass display with 2340x1080 pixels of resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Redmi Note 7 is priced at 999 Yuan (about ₹ 10,000) for the 3GB/32GB variant, 1,199 Yuan (about ₹ 12,500) for 4GB/64GB variant and 1,399 Yuan (about ₹ 14,500) for the 6GB/64GB variant. The device has a 48MP camera at the back along with a 5MP depth-sensor. At the front, the smartphone also comes with a 13MP sensor for video calling and selfies. Connectivity options on the device will include 4G LTE, Wi Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Global Positioning System and micro USB. However, it will come with a microSD card slot that will allow storage expansion up to 128 GB.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support.
