Huawei P30 series March launch date confirmed

Huawei's soaring success is the result of the company's continued efforts to bring nothing but the best smartphones to consumers.

Similar to last year's P20 series, the new P30 series will be announced in Paris and the event is happening on the 26th March 2019.

The P20 Pro was lauded previous year for its impressive feature set which included a 40MP main camera, a 20MP monochrome camera and a 8MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom.

Huawei, which is also going to launch its first foldable phone at MWC on Sunday, according to current rumors, teased that its first flagship phone of the year, the one that matters, will be launched on March 26th.

The video invitation appeared on Twitter as well, where the focus goes from the full Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe into a part of it with tremendous details. The teaser is in line with the past rumours and leaks that suggested P30 Pro's periscope-style imaging hardware to achieve 10X lossless optical zoom. The P30 could end up with the same triple-camera setup as the Mate 20, which should be enough especially with an addition of dual-tone LED flash and laser autofocus.

The Huawei P30 series will apparently rewrite these rules. The P30 Pro will get an upgraded camera module, featuring four sensors at the back and the additional sensor is going to be ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.

As for the leaked specifications, both the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro smartphones will be powered by the premium HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset.
