Report reveals more details about Google’s products for 2019

Google hasn't able to make a big impact in the global smartphone market despite its premium Pixel phones receiving mostly positive reviews. Where Google's Nexus phones offered cheaper price points and endless customization, the iPhone was expensive and locked down.

A report on Nikkei Asian Review has revealed Google's entire product lineup for 2019, including two new Pixel phones, an upgraded Google Home and the first Pixel Watch. Google is going to launch the cheaper Google Pixel 3 Lite for the price-sensitive customers.

Finally, the firm will be launching a new security camera, a new product line for the firm.

Pixel 3 Lite purportedly has the same 5.5-inch screen size as the Pixel 3, but will carry a lower resolution 2,220 x 1,080 IPS panel compared to the FHD+ OLED on the latter.

The company is also apparently planning to launch the new Pixel Watch later this year, which would make sense considering Google just recently spent $40 million on Fossil's smartwatch tech.

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are surely partly responsible for the achievement.

According to the most recent report from reliable Android Police, the budget Pixel 3 range will launch in the United States sometime "this spring". Google has plans to announce some other smart products.

According to blog 9to5Google, the smartwatch was planned for the October 2018 event, but had to be delayed at the last minute. The report mentions statistics from the IDS that show Google sold some 3.45 million Pixel units in 2017 and 4.68 million Pixel units previous year. It's also been a while since the original Google Home was released, and Nikkei pegs it as getting an improved refresh - though I'd still love to see a water-resistant unit for the bathroom. Although Google has been introducing new Home-branded products over the years, the company is going to be updating the regular Google Home speaker later this year after a long time.

The new web camera from Google will occur with a rebranding of Nest after it has been integrated into the Google hardware team.
