The Chiron Sport '110 Ans Bugatti' Is A 1500bhp French-Themed Tribute

Bugatti will celebrate its 110th anniversary edition exclusive version of the Chiron Sport - 110 ans Bugatti.

The company has not yet announced pricing details, though the 20-unit production run will presumably fetch a significant premium. Bugatti says the cap is sandblasted before being hand polished to achieve its attractive finish, with the '"110 ans Bugatti' emblem and the Tricolore running vertically through it". Composite is used for manufacturing outer panels, front and aerodynamic elements. Special headrests feature the colours with embroidered French flags, while the steering wheel presents the colours for the 12 o'clock mark, with matt carbon fibre and blue leather. The two-tone colour scheme is reminiscent of historic models: in the 1920s.

You'll also find brake calipers painted in French Racing Blue behind the matte black "Nocturne" alloy wheels, and a bespoke aluminium filler cap.

Much of the 1479bhp hypercar's bodywork revisions are themed around France's blue, white and red tricolour flag.

"With the limited Chiron Sport "110 ans Bugatti", we're ushering in the 110th anniversary of Bugatti's foundation". The sports steering wheel comes finished with a matt carbon fibre with a blue leather cover. The door trims, sides and seat areas of the sports seats are covered in Alcantara.

Inside, the vehicle is detailed with the distinct tricolor stripes on its headrests and backrests of the two-tone blue leather and Alcantara seats to further reference its historic French roots. The key of the "110 ans Bugatti" is surrounded by three sewn leather patches in the colours of the tricolour. When Ettore Bugatti designed his first model in 1909, the Type 10, he deliberately broke new ground in terms of design. As a finishing touch, there's a "specially crafted medallion" in the centre console storage bin, made from solid silver. As for the availability of the 20 examples, Bugatti have not revealed how many have been sold. Hence, it is powered with 8.0 liter quad-turbo W16 engine that offers an output of 1,479hp (1,500PS / 1,103kW) and 1,600Nm of peak torque. Even the magic figure of 400 km/h can be reached in only 32.6 seconds.
